2016 NHL Winter Classic

This regular season outdoor National Hockey League event celebrated the matchup between two historic rivals, who have played 708 games between them at the time of this event, the second most of any NHL opponents. While this was the Canadiens' cameo appearance at the NHL Winter Classic, it was their third outdoor game. This was the second time the Bruins hosted and played in the event.
